Billionaires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates are among many prominent US figures targeted by hackers on Twitter in an apparent Bitcoin scam.

Hours before this evening, July 15th, the largest hacking of personal accounts took place on Twitter. The hacked accounts included the following names (Bill Gates - Elon Musk - Warren Buffett - Barack Obama - Joe Badin - Mike Bloomberg - Jeff Bezos - Apple account - company account Uber and others) along with hundreds of other accounts that were hacked to companies and celebrities.

The accounts were hacked almost simultaneously, and for two hours the biggest fraud occurred, and the hackers used hacked accounts to post messages in a different format requesting to send $ 1,000 to the Bitcoin account address in exchange for a $ 2,000 return.

The hack process was professionally arranged and planned, and in the first quick response to the process the head of Binance crypto trading platform warned about those tweets but in seconds his account was hacked personally and the warning was cleared.

The tweets were deleted, but after a large number of followers of these accounts interacted, some of them even transferred the money.

Twitter hasn't yet commented on the hack, and you will find here a screen of some of the hacked accounts.
